There are two ways to create pages in Surreal CMS. The first is to duplicate an existing page and the other is to use a template. A template consists of a name, a file extension, and the HTML source of your webpage.
To create a template, open a site and then select Manage Templates from the sidebar. You can have as many templates as you want for each website.
You'll need to enter the following fields.
|Name||A name for the template.|
|Description||A brief description of the template.|
|File Extension||The file extension to use when creating new pages with the template.|
|Source||The full HTML source of the template.|
Once you've created a template, the Create a New Page option will be enabled. If this option isn't enabled, it's because the current website doesn't have any templates.
Templates are not dynamic. If you edit the source of a template, existing pages will not be affected.
