Free For Personal, Educational, and Non-profit Use

Surreal CMS is now completely free for personal, educational, and non-profit websites. This changes everything.

Hot air balloons in the sky

The Internet is facing a monumental problem. More and more of our content is being siloed off into centralized platforms. A decade ago, it was common to host your own website or blog. Now, it's more common to post on Facebook, Medium, and similar services.

Don't get me wrong — social media is great for discovery, but this trend has a devastating effect on how the Internet works and how it was intended to work.

To encourage more people to host their own content, I'm offering free accounts for all personal, educational, and non-profit websites.

If you're not making money from your website, you can use Surreal CMS for free. All caps have been removed — there are no limits on websites, users, pages, etc.

If you're managing commercial websites, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan. A commercial website is one that generates revenue or promotes/advertises a for-profit business, product, or service. I've introduced two very reasonable plans to accommodate commercial websites.

The Business plan unlocks unlimited commercial websites and our analytics dashboard.

The Agency plan unlocks unlimited commercial websites, our our analytics dashboard, developer API, white-labeling, and all other premium features.

Users are welcome to develop and test commercial websites for up to 14 days on the personal plan. After that, a subscription is required. Not sure if your website qualifies? Learn more about website classifications.
